Welcome to Grace Notes Journal. I'm Laurinda Wallace--wife to David (who is my beloved), mom of two beautiful adult daughters, mother-in-law of two great son-in-laws, and grandma to four handsome grandsons. Spending time with family, writing, reading, and exploring God's creation are blessings my Savior has given me on this earthly journey. 

Natives of Western New York, David and I began a new adventure in the high desert of southeast Arizona almost two decades ago. We continue to be amazed at the Lord's provision and care for us as we celebrate 45 years of marriage this year. I'm thankful for a heritage of faith in Jesus Christ passed down multiple generations to me, and now passed onto the next. 

It's in the mundane that I find reinforcement of God's Word, whether it's in pulling weeds, watching the birds, making bread, or enjoying a mountain vista. It's the ordinary, but I consider them the grace notes--the adorning of the Gospel. Because of Jesus' steadfast love for me, I love to tell these stories that you may be encouraged and challenged on your own journey to our heavenly home.
